3 yrs old!

Noah turned 3 on Saturday May 24th!! i will do another post about his party but here is just his updates as a 3 yr old!

Height:  3ft 2 inches (38 1/2 inches)
Weight: 34 1/2 lbs

Clothes Size:  3T in almost all clothes but pants are still 2T

Potty Trained:  not completely, He has moments where he will tell us he has to go, or times when we ask he says yeah and runs to potty but not consistent enough

Sleep: For the most part he goes to bed between 7 and 7:30 and wakes up between 6 and 6:30.  Still takes about a 2 hour nap each afternoon around 12:30-2:30.

Favorite Toys: Play Doh,  Disney Cars/Cars Table, Super Hero toys,  IPAD (youtube and watching surprise easter eggs videos)

Favorite TV/Movies:  Pixar/Disney (wreck it ralph, toy story, planes, Frozen,  monsters University). Peppa Pig, Bubble Guppies, Little Einsteins, Mickey.

Favorite Activities:  Karate (we go once a week), Playing outisde!!! Running in circles around the basement pushing a shopping cart,  Dancing, playing hockey on the deck.

Favorite Foods:  Chocolate Milk! Fruits, Muffins, Peanut butter sandwiches, crackers, yogurt tubes, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets,  a huge treat for him lately is going to mcdonalds... he eats his whole happy meal! Or when we go to IHOP he wants the "french toast combo".  And of course all things sweet like donuts, cake pops, ice-cream etc

Favorite Games:  We play a game where we will say "You smell like......" and then name something.. this can go on for awhile and its usually ends up with both of us laughing... he will say "You smell like yogurt,,, you smell like spaghetti and meatballs... you smell like french toast combo" etc...

Speech:  We talk A LOT and when we were at the Dr yesterday he said by 3 a parent should understand what the child says 75% of the time... i can usually understand him all the time or just takes a minute or two to figure out the context of what he is trying to say because sometimes his enunciation isn't that great. He really is constantly learning new words and phrases at school.  I asked about how he can not say the sounds of L or C/K and the dr was not concerned and said that is perfectly normal.


Noah Says and Does Lately: 

N: i want 2 cake pops
me:  you can have 1
N: i want 2
Me:  1
N:  then i want half of both

If he doesn't want to go somewhere he will say "its not open yet".... "no mommy the dr is not open yet"... or he will say "no not today, maybe in a little bit"

we pretended to call mcdonalds one day and "the lady" told me it was closed.... so now sometimes when we are driving i will hear him in the back seat say "hello? are you open today? you are? we get donuts?........ mommy the donuts are open!"

He is obsessed with birthdays lately.. we had a month where we had a lot of parties... Blake, Henry, Charlie, Daddy and Noah.... he now thinks its always someones birthday and birthday party.

Noah: no i don't need to poop.. the food is still in my tummy.

When he is trying to bargain or negotiate now he ends the sentence with "does that feel good?"... i think he is trying to say something like "how does that sound?" or "what do you think of that"... for example:  He says "how about we have chocolate milk and then pajamas.... does that feel good?"  or "we play outside then have dinner... does that feel good?"
