2 months!

Time is flying! Noah is already 9 weeks old... we did his 2 month photo shoot on Sunday July 24th

Here are some of the highlights of his second month:

* Started sleeping in the crib

* Started sleeping consistantly from 9-6ish every night

* Started smiling

* Slept over Grandpops house with Mommy when brian was away

*Got his first set of vaccinations

* He loves his swing and playmat

* Got dipped in the pool!

7 week checkup

We had our "6 week" (but because of scheduling it actually ended up being 7 week) check up on monday
here are the Stats:
11 lbs 13 oz
22.5 inches long!

We also moved him into the crib last weekend! So far he has adjusted great.  We are still sleeping from around 9 to 3 (sometimes 4 or 430!) and then he will fall back asleep till around 6am. I can deal with the 6am if he would give up that 3 or 4 oclock wake up!

And we also now have smiles!!!

6 weeks

Last tuesday (july 5th) Noah turned 6 weeks old and had a pretty busy week! Brian went to a chemistry conference in Pennsylvania for a couple days/nights so i packed up Noah, Bailey, and Kona and we had our first sleepovers at Grandpops house so that i could have some extra help at night with Noah and the dogs :-)
We also had our first "mommy and me" play group at Shannons house.  6 moms and 6 kids from the ages of 6 weeks (Noah being the youngest) to 1 year!

Then yesterday we took advantage of the sunny day and spent our first day by the pool and tiki bar!

4th Of July Weekend! (lots of pictures!)

We had a busy little weekend! Saturday we went to Brooks Road (a house on the river that my great grandfather built. My dad went there with his grandparents, i remember spending summers there with my grandparents and parents and now after about 10 years of having it "rented" out  we are fixing it up into a little summer hide-away for the family!

Sunday was Jon's annual 4th of July party!

Then on Monday we went back to Brooks Rd for a BBQ with the Birdsalls and Stines!

Splish Splash

a little over 3 weeks ago Noah lost his belly button which means Bath Time! He seems to really enjoy it, which makes Brian and I happy since we are hoping he loves the water as much as we do!  Here is the little fish just chilling in the tub!

 

 

1 month

Our little guy was 1 month old on June 24th!  We did NOT have the most ideal first month, between my recovery from delivery, jaundice, trouble with feeding, and losing my mom.... we definitely had it rough!
But on the plus side here are some fun facts and events that happened:
*At his last Dr. visit on 6/20 he was 10lbs 6 oz!
* His eyes are still blue
*He spent some alone time with Brian's parents, Aunt Laura, and Aunt Peggy (who were all nice enough to watch him while we were at the hospital or dealing with funeral stuff) So he got to get acquainted with people other than just mom and dad!
* We met Great Grandpa, Aunt Vicki and Uncle Fred for the first time
* We celebrated our first fathers day!
* Mom turned 30 :-/
* His belly button fell off a little before 3 weeks and he got his first bath!

We are really looking forward to this next month!
