Holiday Season

It is really starting to feel like Christmas around here. We have been up to some fun stuff and Noah is at such a great age. I dont think he really "gets it" yet, but i am loving experiencing new stuff with him.
I am always better at sharing with pictures than with words so here is memories we have made:
Noah decorating his own felt tree

Now for the real thing

Playing with his nativity set

Christmas train ride at Allaire state park

He was in aww the first time he saw the train!

Storybrook Land
Waiting for Santa to arrive

He loved it!

Still wasnt to sure of the statue Santa

I definitely reccomend Story Brook land to anyone with kids. This is the first time we have taken noah to any sort of attraction besdies the boardwalk.  It was really special. We went after school with Katie and Charlie. The boys had no idea what was about to happen to them. They got to go on rides (Noah has never been on anything besdies a merry go round). At 5pm Santa comes out of the chimney and lights the whole place up. It really got us in the spirit of things seeing all the christmas lights! Noah loved it and the boys were so good staying out a little later than normal.  It is something we want to keep doing for a couple years until he is to big for it!

Thanksgiving weekend and 18 months

Happy Thanksgiving! A lot has been going on this past holiday weekend. We celebrated turkey day with pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches in the morning while watching the parade. My dad came over to join us. Then after nap we went over to Brian's parents house for dinner with all of Noah's aunts uncles and cousins!

On Saturday Noah turned 18 months! We celebrated by going to Eloise's 2nd birthday party! Noah had a great time playing with his friends!

And today was our "northpole breakfast"! Our "elf on the shelf" Jingles came and. Surprised us with a breakfast he brought us to celebrate the season and to remind us that Santa is watching :-). He brought mom and dad some coffee and Noah some munchkins, a little people heist as set and a Christmas penguin pillow pet!

Some 18 month stuff:
We are in all 18 month clothes
We can point to: belly nose hair ears hands
We can do the sounds for: lion (his favorite) cat cow dog and now Santa ( Ho ho ho)
He loves to dance!
Favorite toys are books and cars.
Favorite foods: fruit, muffins, crackers, chicken nuggets.

Fall activities

We were pretty busy this weekend doing some fun fall outings! On Saturday we went to Argos farm. They had a huge hay slide that Noah loved, a hay ride, corn maze, big box of corn play area that Noah was scared of, and some cute baby farm animals. Then yesterday we had planned to go apple picking but it turns out that season is pretty much over so we went to Johnson's farm for some pumpkin picking. Noah loved it! His cousins also met us and we spent both farm trips with the Mullers.

Here's our weekend in pictures: (I haven't figured out how to put them in a certain order when I upload from iPhone so they are from both days)

Outer banks

Before it gets to late.... We went on a family vacation to the outer banks in the beginning of August with two other families! Although the ride was long it was definitely worth it! There were 4 kids from 13 months to 2 years! Here is the trip in pictures!

We are already excited for next year!

14 months

Noah is 14 months today! We have really been enjoying our summer so far.

He is full blown walking with hardly any crawling anymore

He only has 2 bottles a day of milk. About 18 ounces a day.

He is usually in bed by 730 each night and he will either play around in there till 8 or fall asleep right away and wakes up Between 7-8.

He can find my nose when you ask.

He got a new tooth this month. I think it's a molar! He definitely skipped over a few he should have gotten and went right to molar

We celebrated 4th of July at brooks rd, a party at Jons and uncle Freddie's
We went to the ice cream festival and Luke's baseball game.

He likes to pretend to water the flowers and plants outside every morning. He loves his train table and his books! Still loves sesame and Thomas and most shows on sprout.
