Our first Halloween!

Today is Noah's first "real" holiday in my book. Sure we have had memorial day, labor day, columbus day, and  I guess 4th of July counts as something but its not as big as Halloween!

Yesterday we dressed up our little monkey and went trick or treating! All of the "grandchildren of the Stratford" went around my parents neighborhood.  And then we got to hand out candy at our house.

And then Today being Halloween itself we did a little photo shoot too!

Silly mommy makes me wear this pumpkin hat!

And Noah's "treat" today was that he tried bananas for the first time! He ate them like a champ,..... guess he is a little monkey :-)

5 months!

Noah turned 5 months on Oct 24th!  He is 16.7lbs, 26 3/4 inches long!
  • We still have the blue eyes and what seems to be a little red head?  Seriously are we sure this is mine and brians kid?  Although my hair was strawberry blond when i was little, so who knows?
  • We eat oatmeal and are very happy with it
  • We are no longer swaddled which has made him a bit of an early riser lately!
  • We smile, laugh, roll around (both ways) and even reach out to play with Kona.

Random Events and Pictures

Just a quick update.  Last weekend we went apple picking with the Mullers and we seemed more excited to take pictures than to actually pick apples :-)

  • We have also started eating oatmeal in the morning and the past couple days he has seemed to really enjoy it!
  • He now sleeps WITHOUT the swaddle!
  • And our latest development is ROLLING OVER! He can now go from tummy to back fairly easily but he has a problem getting back on his back sometimes.
here are just some cute pictures :-)

Fall is in the Air

To quote one of Mommy's favorite shows... "There is a time of year , when, even before the first leaf falls, you can feel the seasons click. The air is crisp, summer is gone, and for the first night in a long time, you need a blanket on your bed."- sex in the city

Its official! Fall is here and this weekend we made the most of it.  We MAY have tried to cram to much in which did lead to a few meltdowns, but all in all it was a great weekend!
Saturday morning we met our friends Katie and Charlie for a walk around Berkeley Island

Then that afternoon we visited with Shannon, Mike and Ryan to carve some pumpkins! Daddy made a Mickey Mouse one for Noah.

(yes that is drool on my shirt)

Then on sunday we met up with some friends for Chowderfest down in LBI.

And of course the Chegg for lunch.... he wanted the Killer Bee-sting... maybe next year buddy :-)
